How to Make Salted Caramel from Scratch
This homemade salted caramel only requires 4 ingredients and comes together in about 10 minutes!

Heat the sugar over medium heat and stir occasionally.
After a few minutes, the sugar will begin to clump up before it melts.
Continue to stir until all the clumps have melted and the sugar is amber colored.
Once fully melted, remove from the heat and stir in the butter.
Once combined, stir in the heavy cream and flaky sea salt.
Pour the salted caramel sauce into a glass jar and let cool to room temperature.
