Ingredient Notes

You just need 7 simple ingredients to make these fig and goat cheese crostini!

labeled shot of fig and goat cheese crostini ingredients

Fresh Figs - Depending on your grocery store/location, you can find figs all year! But most stores will carry them starting in august through late fall!

Fig Jam - You can usually find fig jam in the cheese section at most grocery stores, Dalmatia is my favorite!

Goat Cheese - These crostini would also be delicious with brie!

The complete list of ingredients and amounts is located in the recipe card below.

How to Make Crostini

Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet and then place in the oven under the broiler for about 5 minutes, or until just starting to toast. Remove from oven.

Spread goat cheese on crostini (you can put the goat cheese in the microwave for about 5 seconds to soften it to a spreadable consistency).

Top each with a small spoonful of fig jam, a few slices of figs, then drizzle with honey.

Season lightly with fresh cracked pepper and fresh thyme.

Place back under the broiler for 2 or 3 minutes, until honey is just starting to bubble and edges of bread are browning.

Remove from oven and serve immediately!
